About Valerie and Eagle Eye Accounting
Bookkeeping and accounting services are more than categorizing transactions and generating reports (although of course, those are very important!). I strive to provide my clients with ease of mind around their finances and simple and straightforward ways to understand their financial position at any given time.
I pride myself on old-school customer service. I’m proactive, efficient, and always responsive. My goal is to create lasting partnerships and an in-depth knowledge of my clients and their businesses and industry, allowing them to move into the future with optimism, financial health, fiscal confidence, and the capacity to focus on what they love doing.
I started my career at Timberline Software (now Sage Construction Management) in Beaverton, Oregon, and New York, New York, serving construction accounting clients in roles ranging from customer product support, implementation and ongoing on-site client consulting, training development and individual and class-based instruction, and custom report writing.
Following my tenure at Timberline Software, I completed studies in hospitality and tourism management at OSU – Cascades and began working at Visit Bend, the destination management and tourism marketing agency for Bend, Oregon. As Vice President of Operations and Policy, I managed financial operations, forecasting and budgeting, business administration, human resources, insurance and contracts, grant programs, data and research projects, and supervised the Bend Visitor Center and staff.
I launched Eagle Eye Accounting in 2024 and am excited to bring my experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and business operations to small businesses – with a specialization in independent gyms and fitness studios – combining my professional and personal pursuits and interests, and passions!
In my free time, I enjoy skiing (why I moved to Bend, Oregon), kayaking, CrossFit and powerlifting with my fitness communities, and seeing many, many movies with my husband and stepson.
